About The Event
The Pride Monologues is a new work written by David Dilsizian. It's a collection of real stories, poems and monologues that have been adapted for the stage.
After posting on Instagram, David received emails and videos from LGBTQ+ people from all over the world. What started as a fun side project to write monologues for a class has turned into a production that will be performed in Chicago and Windsor (Ontario) this summer.
We have a cast of 10 local performers bringing this work to life. We feel so honored that so many people trusted us with their stories. We hope audiences are moved and inspired. There is nothing more powerful than a true story.
