FUNNY BRENTON

Born in the small city Cairo, GA, Amber Brenton (Funny Brenton) always used her ability to make people laugh and diffuse difficult situations. As an adult, she now understands that making people laugh is truly a healing gift. Before hitting the comedy stage, she had a career in law enforcement and teaching. She often found herself entertaining her co-workers and making high stress jobs easier for everyone.

In 2019 Funny Brenton hosted her first stand up comedy show in her garage surrounded by a small group of friends. Seeing that her funny nature translated on stage encouraged her to pursue comedy as a career. The charismatic comic has used her life story and wit to entertain individuals on the stage and social media. She developed her love for the stage as she worked her way through the Atlanta open mic scene.

As she developed the skill for storytelling, she has garnered a loyal following from her widely popular sounds on Tik Tok and comedy sketches online. With over 500,000 followers across platforms, she has been creating buzz among her peers within the entertainment industry as one of comedy’s rising stars.

With a growing following on Tik Tok, Instagram and Facebook, she has created content that has garnered millions of likes, impressions, and shares. Her Tik Tok sounds have been used by celebrities such as LaLa Anthony, Ciara and Kelly Rowland.

Funny Brenton is currently working on her acting talents and stand up comedy. She starred in her first short film, Brenton's Christmas, in 2022. She hopes to take her comedy on the road and continue to spread laughs across each corner of the country.
